IDTA
IDTA – International Dance Teachers Association
The IDTA – International Dance Teachers Association is a dance teaching and examination board based in Brighton. The IDTA is recognised by the national qualifications regulators in England & Wales. Ofqual and the Council for Dance & Musical Theatre , and is also affiliated the the British Dance Council, the Central Council of Physical Recreation and the Theatre Dance Council International. The IDTA also works in partnership with the Royal Academy of Dance.
Examinations are both oral & performance based and conducted by a board of IDTA qualified examiners.
