Jaide Ellery-Martin, Principal of Jaide’s Stage Studios, and her students, celebrated their wonderful annual tradition of performing a selection of festive-themed routines at Elliott’s Field Retail Park, Rugby.
Jaide said, “The weather was surprisingly really kind to us after raining most of the night, but the sun shone and it was actually quite pleasant. The children did brilliantly considering they were performing for nearly 6 hours with sadly a few dancers down due to illness. They alternated their dance routines every 20 minutes with Boogie Bounce demonstrations – dance exercises on mini trampolines from the ladies adult classes which attracted some great crowds. I would also like to express our sincere thanks to Tapi Carpets & Floors for providing us, at last minute, as a gesture of goodwill, a lovely piece of carpet for the children to dance on, due to slipping on the linoleum, and who saved the day.
Thanks must also go to all those that helped set up and pack away, and to everyone who came along to cheer and support us. We all had a really fun & festive day”.
